  • What is VoIPtig?

    A. By using your existing internet connection VoIPtig allows you to make VoIP calls using either our software, or an IP phone. There is no need for a phone line with VoIPtig, and because our software uses a low amount of bandwidth international calls still stay at the highest quality.

 

 

  • How do I get started?

    A. To start using VoIPtig simply fill out this form and receive your e-number via e-mail, Then download the software which can be found by clicking on the ‘Download’ icon at the top of the page. Follow the installation method. When prompted enter your unique user name and password, now you will be able to start making VoIPtig to VoIPtig calls for FREE.

 

 

  • How do I top up?

    A. VoIPtig uses vouchers to top-up; these can be purchased directly from this website by clicking on the ‘Top-up’ icon, when your request has been verified you should receive an e-mail with a unique activation code worth $5, $10 or $15. Type this activation code into the prompted box, and your credit will be updated.

 

 

  • What are the call rates?

    A. VoIPtig works to keep its call rates competitive with the market, and always looking to lower the costs where possible, a list of our current call rates can be seen by selecting the icon located at the top of the page.

 

 

  • What is a 'DID' number?

    A. DID (Direct Inward Dialing) numbers are phone numbers which can be linked geographically to a specific area code or national number.  DID numbers allow the user to make ‘local’ calls to the area they want to call. For example a business in Iraq who make a lot of international calls to London may wish to have a local number in order to get cheaper calls, with the DID number VoIPtig can assign the users with an 020 area code.

 

 

  • What if I'm looking to have VoIPtig in my office?

    A. VoIPtig has many advantages for business owners; it allows internal calls between offices to be made for free. For regular business trips the VoIPtig dongle allows the user to plug straight in to ANY computer around the World with enabled internet connection. The soft phone will automatically load and VoIPtig can be used straight away.
